Well, here it is. Saturday morning already with the baby shower only a couple of hours away. I can't believe that everything is under control and there's actually free time for me to post! Will wonders never cease?! My sister Connie flew in and is staying here and my other sister Barb was over all day yesterday, so we got everything arranged, wrapped, organized, set-up, blah, blah, etc., etc. Whew! What a long and tiring day that was! But everything is all ready to go - just need a shower and a bit of primping and we're out the door.
When I attended Leadership last January, Pam Morgan showed some baby shower ideas working around our products. One of the ideas she shared was a little washcloth bunny. I thought it was the cutest thing I'd ever seen, so took notes and two really awful fuzzy pictures so I'd remember and we could recreate them for shower favors. Would you like to visit my very own little Bunny Patch USA?
Aren't these just the cutest little guys around??? Even after making 24 of them, I still think they're adorable - and easy to make too!
Stamps: Eggcoutrements (Occasions Mini - available only til the end of April!)
Cardstock: Whisper White
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, Summer Sun, Only Orange, Melon Mambo
Accessories: 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1/8" Circle Punch, Assorted Ribbon to match (some retired), and White Crochet Cotton
I call these 'multiplying' bunnies, because we thought they were all out of the bag and stacked on the table. But when we went to put them away, there were 3 more in the bag that didn't make it into the picture. So you know what those little bunnies were doing in that bag, don't you? Making more little bunnies, of course! lol
With the bright ribbons and tags used on these, the bunnies look so fun and cheerful! (Maybe I need to remember this to make one for little Carson's first Easter next year. Good idea?)
Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend. If all goes well, I'll be back to posting on a more regular basis. Somehow I seem to get all off track when there's lots of deadlines looming ahead. Now that the baby shower is upon us, I can settle down and get back to creating and joining challenges. Happy weekend to all of you out there!
